Jazz greats from the world over will converge on Los Angeles June 14 and 15, as the Playboy Jazz Festival returns to the Hollywood Bowl for another spectacular weekend of incredible sounds and performances.

Funnyman George Lopez will serve as Master of Ceremonies over the weekend, ensuring there will be plenty of laughs to go along with both classic and contemporary jazz performers.

Saturday night’s lineup includes some of the jazz world’s great legends, both in the flesh and in spirit. Al Jarreau and Stanley Clarke will lead an all-star tribute to the legacy of the late great George Duke, a pioneering composer and keyboard player. The Arturo Sandoval Big Band will take the stage that night, as will Diane Reeves, Jamie Cullum, Allen Stone, The New Jump Blues and more.

There are plenty of incredible acts to stick around for on Sunday. George Benson will bring his guitar wizardry to the stage, joined by special guest Earl Krugh. Check out Prism, a supergroup featuring Kevin Eubanks, Craig Taborn, Eric Harland and Dave Holland. Take in a set by Dr. Lonnie Smith, the James Cotton Blues Band, Los Amigos Invisibles and the incomparable Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban All Stars will all perform as well.

Both nights take place at the legendary Hollywood Bowl, one of the world’s great open-air live-music venues. Visually stunning and with unbelievable acoustics, music lovers owe it to themselves to make at least one pilgrimage to the Bowl in their lifetime. The Playboy Jazz Festival is the perfect opportunity to take it all in.
